VIDEO: One Person Confirmed Dead After Vehicle Crashes into House

SPRING HILL - One person is confirmed dead after a vehicle crashed into a house on Fulton Ave.

According to sources, the driver of a silver car drove into the side of a house located at 10259 Fulton Ave. The vehicle then burst into flames, but was extinguished prior to the arrival of Fire Rescue.

There are no reports of injuries from inside the residence.

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash.

UPDATE: According the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was traveling westbound on Fulton Ave at a high rate of Speed, when he lost control of the a 2010 Toyota Prius. Officials say the vehicle went airborne, struck a tree and then collided with the home, where it caught fire.

The driver, a 57-year-old Port Richey man, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
