Middle School Student Charged After Firing Airsoft Gun in Cafeteria

PORT RICHEY – A 12-year-old boy Chasco Middle School student is in hot water, after officials say he fired an airsoft gun on school grounds.
According to officials, deputies responded to the school this morning, after witnesses say the student fired several shots into a backpack, while in the cafeteria.
The child has been charged with disruption of a school function.
No one was injured during the incident.
