Man Taken Into Custody After Threatening to Kill His Two-Year-Old Son

BROOKSVILLE – What started as a domestic battery in Port Richey, Florida, quickly escalated to threats to kill a child.

According to the Pasco Sheriff's Office, 23-year-old Noa Dominguez allegedly battered a family member on Mercado Drive in Port Richey, around 10:00 a.m. this morning. When police were notified, Dominguez grabbed his two-year-old son and ran out the back door, into a wooded area.

During a press conference, Sheriff Chris Nocco said he immediately dispatched numerous units to assist in the search. "We need prayers and assistance in the Tampa Bay area right now," said Nooco.

Around 1:30 p.m. today, R News learned that the suspect and his son were on Brook Drive in Brooksville, Florida and that numerous agencies were converging in the area to assist in capturing the suspect. R News quickly responded to the scene.

While inside the home on Brook Drive, R News learned that Dominguez made several homicidal and suicidal statements to another family member.

Around 2:30 p.m. Sheriff's Deputies approached the residence and after several minutes, Dominguez finally emerged and was taken into custody without incident. The child was also taken into protective custody and was unharmed.
