Two Men Arrested After Arranging to Meet With a '14-year-old Boy'

BROOKSVILLE – The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is reporting the arrest of two men who traveled to Hernando County, believing they were meeting a teenage boy.

According to officials, on May 31st, 49-year-old Bradley Williams traveled from Orlando to meet who he thought was a 14-year-old boy to engage in sex. Williams was actually communicating with a detective from the Special Victims Unit (SVU), who was posing as the victim. When Williams arrived at the prearranged meeting location, he was taken into custody.

Williams has since posted a $12,000 bond.

On May 30th, detectives arrested 31-year-old Frank Wheeler of Dade City, who they say also arranged a meeting to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex.
