SPRING HILL – Yesterday, students at Spring Hill Elementary witnessed thousands of nature's life-giving creatures doing their job just a little too close for comfort.
Sources say over 20,000 honey bees had built a home in a nearby tree, making students and staff feel a bit uneasy. To prevent any strays from unintentionally harming a student, they called the beekeepers from Honey Badgers Bee Farm to gently remove and rehome the hive.
No humans or bees were harmed in the process, sources say.
