Hernando County Fire Rescue honored two very brave 10-year-olds today after they saved their grandmother's life.
According to officials, Adrianna and Salvatore knew something was wrong with their grandmother so they contacted their parents on Facebook Messenger and then called 911.
Because of their quick actions, paramedics were able to reach their grandmother to render aid and save her life.
This past Saturday, Adrianna and Salvatore were recognized by the HCFR crew from Station 3 and given certificates as Honorary First Responders resulting from their courageous acts.
Officials say their grandmother is doing well and was able to attend the ceremony.
