Body Discovered Floating on the Withlacoochee River

DADE CITY (HERNANDO) – An investigation is underway into the discovery of a body that was found floating in the Withlacoochee River.

Fire Rescue located the deceased on the riverbank near the 33000 block of Ranch Road after a passerby reported seeing the body in the area.

The investigation is just getting underway and there are no further details at this time.
