Serial Killer's Brother Charged with Child Rape

SPRING HILL – On Wednesday, R News responded to the infamous Mansfield compound located in Roundup Lane, after reports that investigators had executed a search warrant. Rumors began to swirl that another body had been discovered or that the investigation had to do with the solving of the Jennifer Odom case - but that was not the case.

Today, sources say that convicted murderer Billy Mansfield's brother, 63-year-old Terry Mansfield was the focus of the investigation, and that he has been charged with raping a young girl.

Officials have not released details into the case, but according to jail records, Mansfield is charged with Sexual Assault on a victim under 12 years of age. He is also charged with resisting arrest and his currently held without bond in the Hernando County Jail.

Records show that Terry Mansfield owns residences at 3454 Roundup Lane, and 7231 Centerwood Ave.

Billy Mansfield murdered at least five women between 1975 and 1980. Four women were murdered in Spring Hill and buried on the his property. Another woman was killed in California. He is currently serving five life sentences in a California State Prison.
