Nick Carter's Mom Arrested for Domestic Battery

SPRING HILL – The mother of Nick and the late Aaron Carter was arrested in Hernando County last week, after officials say she battered her husband over television volume.

Officials say 64-year-old Jane Eleanora Schneck and an adult male were drinking and began arguing over the remote's volume control because the victim wanted to sleep. A physical altercation ensued and Schneck allegedly battered the victim, who sources say is her husband.

Officials say the victim recorded the incident on video and showed that to deputies. Schneck was subsequently arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.

Schneck has since been released on a $100 bond.

A Judge ordered Schneck to have no contact with the victim.
