Spring Hill Man Charged with Possessing Child-Like Sex Doll

SPRING HILL – An early morning raid of a residence on Filmore Street led to the arrest of one person for possession of obscene material.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Hernando County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at around 5:30 a.m. this morning at 12430 Filmore Street.

Witnesses say they heard flash bangs and agents yelling over a loudspeaker, "You might as well come out because we aren't going anywhere."

According to the Hernando County Jail website, 63-year-old Basilio Diaz is charged with possession of child-like sex dolls and other obscene material. He is also charged with destruction of evidence. Diaz is currently held without bond.

Officials have not released a statement at this time.
