Investigation Underway into Domestic Related Double Shooting

UPDATE: Preliminary investigation reveals two adult males, who are related, became involved in a verbal dispute. The dispute escalated and both males were shot.

Detectives have confirmed one fatality on scene. The other victim was transported to a local trauma center and is listed in critical condition.

BROOKSVILLE - An investigation is underway into a double shooting at a residence on Powell Road.

Officials say two adults have been shot shot and that It is domestic related.

Sources say a male in his 50s was shot multiple times and has been airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.

There are unconfirmed reports that a second victim is deceased.
