Fire Damages Five Vehicles in Target Parking Lot

SPRING HILL - Several vehicles were damaged as a result of fire in the parking lot of a local department store.

Just before 3:00 p.m. today, witnesses observed smoke and flames billowing from the front of an older model Jeep Cherokee in the parking log of a Target Department store on US-19. By the time fire rescue arrived on scene, at least five vehicles had sustained damage due to being parked nearby. One woman said she was parked directly in front of the burning vehicles, but she managed to move her car just in time to avoid damage.

There are no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
