Arson Investigation Underway After Patrol Car Intentionally Set Fire

SPRING HILL - The Hernando County Sheriff's Office and State Fire Marshal are investigating a patrol car fire at Portillo Road and Northcliffe Blvd.
Just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Fire Rescue responded to an apartment complex at the intersection after report of a patrol car fire. Deputies soon found evidence at the scene that the fire was intentionally set.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
