Spring Hill Man Dies in Two Vehicle Crash on US-41

SPRING HILL (PASCO) - One person is dead and another seriously injured after a late-night crash on US-41.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by a 24-year-old Lutz man was traveling eastbound on Bowman Road, preparing to turn left onto US-41. At the same time, a minivan driven by a 79-year-old Spring Hill man was traveling northbound on US-41. The driver of the truck pulled into the path of the minivan and collided with the front left side of the vehicle.

The driver of the minivan suffered fatal injuries and later died at an area hospital. A 59-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries. The Driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and a 24-year-old female passenger was not injured.
