Body Discovered Inside Abandoned Vehicle Near Spring Hill Grocery Store

SPRING HILL – A death investigation is underway, after a body was discovered inside an abandoned vehicle.

According to sources, Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Aldi grocery store on Wendy Ct., around 1:30 p.m. today, after a white SUV was scene in the same parking space since yesterday.

Witnesses say the vehicle was running for hours on Thursday, but nothing seemed suspicious at that time. This morning they say the vehicle was no longer running and that someone appeared to be unconscious inside the vehicle.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.
