SPRING HILL, FL – The Hernando County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of a Spring Hill man who lured pedophiles into believing they could purchase images of child pornography on a social media site. During a search warrant, Investigators didn't locate child pornography, but they did locate images of sexual activity with animals.
According to officials, a tip led detectives to a residence located at 10512 Blythville Road on Wednesday, where they say 34-year-old Aaron Randall may be in possession of child pornography. During a search, detectives located 13 files containing sexual activities involving animals on his electronic devices.
During an interview with Randall, he admitted to advertising sexually explicit videos for sale that involved a juvenile female engaged in sex. Randall said individuals could send payment through a popular application.
Randall told detectives he never actually possessed child pornography, but he did scam pedophiles out of thousands of dollars.
During a search of the residence, detectives found 2.7 grams of methamphetamine. Randall says he used meth because he could not obtain a prescription for Adderall.
Randall was booked into the Hernando County Jail on multiple charges, including possession of animals involved in sexual activity and money laundering.
Randal is currently held on a $142,500 bond.
