Fentanyl Disguised as Oxycodone Discovered During Drug Bust

SPRING HILL – After a months-long vice and narcotics investigation, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office says three people have been charged in connection with the sale of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Hashish.

Officials say during a traffic stop on Tuesday, 49-year-old Leonard Hall and 43-year-old Heidi Williams were taken into custody after detectives discovered Cocaine and Fentanyl in their possession. Detectives say Williams was also concealing Crack Cocaine in a body cavity.

A search warrant was served at the suspect's residence located at 3289 Morven Drive, where detectives located an undisclosed amount of Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Hashish.

During the investigation, detectives made several purchases from Hall and Williams for Fentanyl pills pressed to resemble Oxycodone.

Hall faces multiple charges related to trafficking and possession and is held at the Hernando County Jail on a $249,000 bond. Hall was already on probation out of Pennsylvania for Sales and Possession of Cocaine.

Williams is facing similar charges and is held on a $100,000 bond.

A third suspect, 21-year-old Isaiah Williams, was arrested at the residence and charged with Possession of Hashish.

Officials did not release the total amount of each narcotic that was seized during the operation.
